all its own. Freshly cut Aspen trees are incorporated into nearly every aspect of the decor, giving the space a warm almost alfresco feel. Antique gas lanterns dangle from the ceiling and a long bar hides a narrow doorway that leads to a wine cellar-inspired dining room for larger private parties.
On the menu you’ll find twenty or so small plates where Executive Chef, Pete List has created scads of casual French dishes that are decedent and delicious, without too much fuss. All the usual suspects are here including our favorites, the Duck Rillette, Lamb Loin and the Sweetbreads. As for the libations, List has designed a very user-friendly wine list with roughly fifteen varieties offered by the half-glass, glass, half-bottle or bottle (bonus: half-glasses start right under four bucks). Of course, if you’re the mood for something a little stiffer, they have a full bar with able bodied tenders ready to help shake just the right drink to go with your Sweet Onion Tartlet and wild baby arugula.
Good food and good wine...two of the best things about being a grown-up.
