| Getting a group of friends together for a Friday night dinner party is your forte. Figuring out
where to go...not so much.
Try taking them to newly opened Second Home restaurant in the JW Marriott. It's
comfort food chic with a home-away-from-home feel. Housed at the back of the hotel's lobby in the old Mirepoix space, Second Home is the anti-Mirepoix.
Scraped of all the old bourgeois luxe decor and hoity attitude, this latest incarnation has been warmed up with
stone walls, dark woods, an expanded bar area and clusters of casually set tables nudged
around a side patio with doors that open wide during the summer months.

| The more casual vibe crosses over to the menu as well where patrons can enjoy a wide range of rotisserie meals, seafood and creative nightly specials. Best of all, Chef Che Frey promises that
unlike Mirepoix, nothing on the menu is over $29 and no bottle of wine exceeds 60 bucks.
When you go, the Lemon Ice-Box Cake is the perfect way to wrap up
your dinner soiree. Not having to clean up your kitchen after
all the festivities is a close second.
