Cuban Intrigue: Havana 

Aside from those extended lunch breaks and hours of rapid-fire instant messaging, you know all too well what a hard day's work is all about. And when the workday's over, there ain't-nothin'-betta than heading to a posh lounge to sip sophisticated cocktails with a bar full of stylish people.

Take refuge from such scenarios at Havana, the new uber-cool Capital Hill lounge that looks and feels like a Hollywood version of a Cuban cigar bar circa 1945. Once inside you'll find pressed-tin ceilings, enormous picture windows, private enclaves and even a cozy balcony. The overall vibe here is inviting, intimate and quintessentially Cuban. 

As for the libations, grab a seat at the marble-top bar order up one of their perfect Cuban Mojitos or try their house cocktail, the Signature Move, whilst being entertained by an eclectic mix of music from any one of their live nightly DJ sets. And, should the music (or the cocktails) move you and your office cohorts to dance, there's even a small dance floor to shake off those workday blues. 

Who knows, if you're quick on the draw with that cell phone cam, you might just have some first-rate blackmail material for the water cooler tomorrow.
