Sure, the writer's strike has put a little crimp in our Sunday night routine of watching the gals of Wisteria Lane scheme, fight, flirt and generally sex up suburbia. Still, all is not loss. Switch off the tube and check out the latest fruit of Eva Longoria's most recent labor of love.
Partnering up with East Coast Chef Todd English (think Olives), Eva and company have just launched Beso, a two-story eatery that's got all the trappings of a posh Hollywood hangout with just a dash of Spanish swank. And yes, Miss Eva did do more than walk the red carpet opening. In fact, our favorite lil' taquito had a say in everything from the staff's uniforms to the Latin-influenced menu, even giving up the Longoria family |

recipe for their Tortilla Soup (Hope Grandma Longoria is collecting some royalties).
While the menu is loaded with spicy fare including a traditional Paella and some pretty sinful Risotto cakes, the real epicurean action is at the Tapas and Ceviche bars. Oh, and make sure to indulge in a few of their signature mango Mojitos too. Boozers beware though, all sweetness aside, these babies pack a punch and will have you flat on your tukis in no time.
Yes, we say pucker up butter cup, we'll happily lay on big "beso" on Beso.
