 Banner Idea: BetterWall.com

You go out of your way to make sure your taste in home décor is unique.

You hand-picked the silk for your window treatments while on vacation in Singapore. You’ve painstakingly scoured Broadway’s Antique Row to find the perfect one-of-a-kind coffee table. You’ve even gone so far as to have an exotic collection of succulents flown in from South America, just to add a little panache to your patio.

But when it came to finding a piece of unique wall art, you were lost. Original works were out of your price range and places like Z Gallerie were anything but exceptional.

Welcome to BetterWall.com.

Locally owned and operated for over five years, Better Wall restores and sells retired art exhibition banners from a host of top museums around the country. These street banners, once affixed to city street lights and museum facades, come in a wide range of styles from Asian and Old Masters to Impressionism and Contemporary. The banners measure anywhere from 2 ½ to 3 feet in width and 6 to 8 feet in length, perfectly dramatic but still sized to fit into most homes. According to company owners Nick and Nora Weiser, “Our Company is for those who want more than just a framed poster, but can’t drop thousands of dollars on an original work of art.” Price-wise, the banners are affordable, ranging from about $300 - $800, depending on size of the edition and the image itself. And, best of all, half of all banner sales are donated back to the museums to support art programs, collections, exhibitions and operations.

BetterWall.com: an original approach to fine art and an ultra-cool way to complete your uber-trendy abode.
